Angelos Floros
Angelos Floros is Assistant Professor of Interactive Audiovisual Arts at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and visiting professor of the Postgraduate Programme "Digital Art Forms" of the School of Fine Arts. He studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He continued with postgraduate studies in New York in the field of Interactive Telecommunication Program at the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU (2002). He has developed numerous research applications with a focus on interactive environments and digital non-linear narratives for Mount Athos, the Academy of Athens, the Acropolis Museum, the National Archaeological Museum, the Epidaurus Museum, the Mycenae Museum, the Naval Museum of Greece, Domi Publications and many public and private educational and cultural institutions. He participated in international exhibitions such as the Prague Quadrennial 2003, the Venice Biennial 2006, the 1st Thessaloniki Biennial 2008 and others. From 2019 up to 2022 he was the Artistic Director of the Audiovisual Arts Festival organized by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts and ERIMEE of the Ionian University and held in Corfu and other cities in Greece.
